With this convening, the GEAR UP Georgia Coordinator Training seeks to ensure that state team leaders, coordinators, principals and district staff are clear on the goals and policies related to the grant program and begin to design activities that ensure that college and career readiness goals are met by:
- Internalizing the goals and design of GEAR UP Georgia;
- Reviewing fidelity measures at the school, district and grant levels;
- Make data-driven decisions that impact service delivery and outcomes;
- Ensuring that policies and procedures are met when implementing the state grant; and
- Collectively designing efforts that work for GEAR UP Georgia communities.
